How to clean candle vessels...

Hi, should I say Good Morning! I pose a question this morning, what is the best way to prevent, or at least, clean candle vessels that have the black soot in them? I must not use very clean burning candles, b/c all my jars/cups/etc. have the soot or whatever in them that is very hard to get out and it looks really bad. Does anybody have ideas of what works best to clean them up? I am open to any and all ideas. Thank you sincerely. Hope everyone has an Awesome day!! Kimberly

Oh, I don't know about that....I was hoping you were going to tell us...lol.

I have started using a lot more soy candles (that don't put that soot in the air) and even though the Wal-mart brand smells very yummy they put off a LOT of soot so I don't use them anymore.

Hope you are having a great Wednesday!

I usually just take a dry paper towel and wipe hard at the soot. It doesn't always remove it all, but it is an improvement.

I have used wet paper towels but I think the abrasiveness of the cheap ones when they're dry helps a bit.
