Happy New Year

Hi, Happy New Year to you all. My only excuse for not blogging, is I have been so busy, I've barely had time to turn around. My new job at Oklahoma State University is a "big" job, and I have been learning learning learning. Some days I feel like I can't do it, but after much daily prayer, God is showing me how to keep on trying. We are in the last semester of daughter Janie's HS years...she is filling out tons and tons of scholarship apps. Matthew is busy bowling and helping out. Todd, had an accident while fire fighting (volunteer)...gate on truck was not latched, and he leaned into it while hosing fire, and fell out of truck! Large man, his age, falling...never good. No broken bones, very very very sore left shoulder, and knee, oh my, knee. It was swollen huge, HUGE. Going back to doctor again today (went last Monday; to swollen to tell anything!), hope we know something more about how injured it is. He was resting, and icing, and praying this last week. Has thrown down his crutch, and is hobbling around pretty well. Still swollen and oh so bruised. Prayers welcomed for him. Will probably have to been on light duty at his real job (lineman) for a while! And, we have snow today, and an artic front coming int. Oh so cold tonight and tomorrow!! Thank you God Todd is able to help me feed/water horses and chickens. And we are blessed with many many friends wanting and waiting to help. Our church, our friends, our small group, and our families have been just awesome through out this accident. Thank you God!! As I said above, life is flying by...crazy fast. I have many pictures to share with you all...hopefully soon. Stay safe and warm. Love you all! Kimberly

Praying your hubby heals quickly, and completely.

I'm so glad you have a great support system as you deal with Todd's injury. It's wonderful to have help in those times when life isn't what we've planned.

Keep plugging away at that new job. It's always hard at first but I'm sure you'll find your groove soon.
