Yes, it's been forever since I been on here, but a main goal is to start blogging again.

Aside from my dhs certified home daycare, my husband and I sell home-made soy candles.  All shapes, sizes, and scents, if you are interested in purchasing any, please let me know.  The price is right, and they burn and SMELL wonderful ad clean!

2nd chance

Update on my.  October 26, 2012 I had baratric weight loss surgery.  I have lost a little over 80 pounds.  I am a new person, inside and out.  And very blessed.

I own and operate a successful DHS certified daycare.  Also sell Avon and have another side business called "Dead Broke Cowpokes Candles and More".  We make soy candles in great colors and scents.  And we do take orders.  I also am enrolled in two classes.  One college course, one real estate course.

Given a second chance in life, and livin' it to the fullest.  Hope a board this blog for the ride.

Welcome to make the best of it Monday...

It's a crazy busy life here at the hacienda.  Didn't seem like we had a weekend at all!  Easter came and went.  No little ones here to hunt eggs.  Just Todd, Matthew (17) and I...celebrated with a summer and daughter at my mom and dad's.

Homework looming and due!  Housework suffering...me humbled and blessed.  Just trying to make the best of a Monday.

2013 new year

Happy New Year 2013!!!  I sincerely hope you have a happy, joy-filled, positive, productive and blessed new year.  Here at the Cundiff House, it will be a busy 2013.  As we continue to participate in the "Dave Ramsey" debt free program, and start another side-business; "Dead Broke Cowpokes" were we will sell candles and more.  Plus I still sell Avon, and I'm taking one college class this semester for my in-home daycare, and trying to get my real estate license!!  Whew.  All this and Todd works a full time job as a lineman, daughter Janie is a sophomore at OSU, and son Matthew is a junior at RHS.  Life is crazy, but I'm bound and determined to love every minute of it.

Due to barbaric weight loss surgery, I have been given a new lease on life.  So far a total weight loss of 58#!!!  Health is SO much better.  I am truly blessed.  

As I said above, determined to have a great new year, and blessed to have a second chance at life.  Am not going to waste a minute of it!!  Love and Peace to you all!!

I'm back...

One of my (many) new years resolutions (yes, I make them) is to blog at least 3-4 times weekly, would like to think I can blog daily. We will see. Decided I would start practicing now...

Life is busy. I'm dhs certified for in-home daycare. Success was making an "A" in my very first ever college class. Currently enrolled in my second college class. Wanting to finish my real estate license venture. Just need to study up and take exam!

Due to being unemployed for quite while now, we are dead broke. Learning many many lessons about life, money, being frugal, and doing with out. Christmas at the Cundiff's is very slim this year. Thankful my kids are bigger so they kind of understand.

Keeping this house clean, selling Avon, taking class and keeping up with two dogs keeps me pretty busy daily.

Present and accounted for

Good Morning, I'm alive! Yes, believe it or not, I'm alive (sorta)...LOL...Lots has happened in life since I was last here. I have quite my job, due to my health and some other issues. My father had a major heart attach, and now, thanks to Oklahoma Heart Hospital is doing quite well. My daughter Janie has started college, and is doing good. My son, the HS sophomore, is waiting anxiously for December to get his drivers license. Todd is doing spectacular after having kideny surgery, and doc finally released him for full duty after knee surgery. I have enrolled in an on line college, hope to get my BS in Psychology, and am currently trying to talk myself into finishing DHS application for in home daycare again (sigh)...need some income deserpately bad. Goal: stay at home, do daycare, be here for Matthew and his needs (and wants) till he finishes HS, and I get degree. Then I hope to work with DHS or a school as a councelor or something like that. :-) Life is hard, but good right now. I am one blessed chick! More later with pictures, Kimberly.

update...

I ALWAYS HAVE A LOT GOING ON!!! LOL!!! Update: Todd's surgery was successful. Dr. said he would NOT have passed it on his own. It was larger than they thought, actually they could not see all of it on cat scan or x-ray. Recovery from surgery brought pain and a blood clot that scared Todd a bit. But we got throught it. THANK YOU GOD!!! Heat wave here in NE Oklahoma is almost un-bearable. Highs this week up 110 or 111. Thanking the Lord for AC. Praying for those who have to work out in heat. Maggie is a joy, and is growing like a weed. She is impossible to photograph, too quick. Enjoying my time home today, seems like last two weeks have been such a whirl-wind. At the very last step of enrolling at on-line university, feet feel cold, but am excited. Very much need AVON business to pick up! I sincerely hope all is well with all of you. Quick update on my crazy life

Good Morning. Well I have quit my job, and am very close to being enrolled in Capella On-Line University. Currently looking for a way to have some incoming income. Todd has a killer kidney stone; that being said, he is scheduled for surgery to remove it tomorrow. My sister and niece are coming this week. The new puppy is growing like crazy. Life is flying by.
