Hi. I'm here. Haven't been here in a while, and I'm sorry for that. Just been busy. Here are a few pictures of what went on during the last few days of school, and pics of a beautiful birds nest that my son found in a pair of cowboy boots hung on our fence...

The mama bird stays in there alot, and the daddy bird keeps good watch over her.

Birthday and 1st surgery meeting

Good Sunday Evening, Saturday was my 43rd birthday! Wahoo! I have a few snapshots to upload...

Tomorrow (Monday) evening is my first bariatric gastric bypass surgery meeting. I am so excited. Scared about the actual surgery, but want to lose 100-140#. Need to for health reasons! I will let you know how meeting goes.

Jane and Jerrad are sophomores, Jerrad was high grade sophomore, so therefore was able to attend Jr./Sr. Prom. He and Janie have been dating for 9 months. They make the most wonderful couple. We hosted a cookout for Jerrad's family this evening. All went well.

Here are some pictures of State FFA Speech Contest. Janie placed 3rd in Natural Resource Division. Her speech was about water. She did awesome!

Playroom

Last night, I started the dreaded task of making the office/craftroom into a playroom. Mind you, this room was stuff to the ceiling with all sorts of stuff...plants, storage boxes full, sewing stuff, office stuff including computer(s), arts and crafts stuff...you name it and it was probably in there. So, I'm in the process of taking it all out and find new homes for all that stuff in an already stuffed house. Whew. I am about half way there! I didn't take before pictures, silly me, but will take after ones for sure. My daycare is growing quickly...have several new potential enrollments...so I need a playroom to keep everything together. This has been a huge undertaking, and I can't see the end yet. Maybe next weekend...
